Why this form.

Alive at the end of the shelf.

01

Counted at the end of shelf life. A count taken on the day of manufacture flatters the label. The number that matters is what is alive on the day you open the box.

02

Species and strain named. Probiotic is a category, not an ingredient. The label tells you which one, the way a fruit seller tells you which mango.

03

Zinc as bisglycinate, 5 mg, a modest amount that sits fine on breakfast. Not oxide, not sulphate.

How to take it.

2 capsules, with breakfast.

  1. 01

Two capsules with breakfast, with water. Not with anything hot; heat is unkind to live cultures.

  2. 02

21 mm, size 0. Keep the box somewhere cool and dry. The fridge is fine but not required. The car is not.

  3. 03

Take it every day for the full box. Live cultures work by turning up daily, not by turning up once. Pregnant, breastfeeding, or on any daily prescribed medicine, ask your doctor first.

What to expect. Gut.

Subtle. Slow.
On purpose.

A real dose does not announce itself. You are not going to feel it on day one. You are not meant to. Here is what four weeks and twelve weeks tend to look like, and the one day you will notice most.

  1. Week 1

Nothing to report, or a small change you cannot quite name. Both are normal. Two with breakfast, every day.

  2. Week 4

You may notice something by now, or not yet. Both are normal. Keep going.

  3. Week 12

Nothing you can point at, and that is what a steady dose does. It supports digestive comfort and regularity, day after day.* The day you notice most is still the one you skip.

Lot number.

Type your lot.
Read your report.

Every lot will be tested by an independent NABL-accredited lab before it ships, and the report goes up here by lot number, dated, on the lab's own paper.

Five questions.

Ask the label.

Short answers. If yours is missing, the email is in the footer.

  1. 01Do I need to keep it in the fridge?

No. The strains are being chosen to last on a shelf at room temperature, and the count printed on the label will be the count at the end of shelf life, not at manufacture. A cool, dry cupboard is fine.

  2. 02I eat curd every day. Is this not the same thing?

Curd is good and you should keep eating it. It does not tell you which strains or how many, and the count changes from bowl to bowl. This tells you both. Take both if you like.

  3. 03Will I feel anything in the first week?

Some people feel a small change in the first few days as the strains and the fibre settle in, and it passes. If anything bothers you, drop to one capsule for a few days, then go back to two.

  4. 04Why is there zinc in a gut formula?

Zinc contributes to normal metabolism of the food you eat, and vegetarian diets tend to absorb less of it.* 5 mg as bisglycinate, a modest amount, in a form that sits fine on breakfast.

  5. 05How long should I stay on it?

Give it the full box, thirty days, before you decide. If it is doing its job, keep going. There is no reason to stop and start.
